Hi guys! How are you all doing? Today I am going to review the new Maybelline Baby Lips range which is Maybelline Electro Pop Baby Lips. These are available in 4 shades but Pink Shock was the only shade which was wearable among the other shades (hehe). So let’s get started 🙂
Rs 165 for 3.5 g
Product Description by Maybelline:
The next generation of lip balm is born, from Maybelline New York. Adult strength care for baby soft lips in vibrant neon colors
Sheer color and shine. Infused with electric color in our exclusive lip renew formula, for a sheer tint of color and shine
8H continuous moisture. Formula with shea butter and vitamin E gives lips a soft and natural finish and leaves a supple and smooth feeling.
Clinical strength lip balm. 88% Had Smoother Lips*. 82% Had Less Dry Lips*. 70% Had More Supple Lips*. 83% Had Better-Looking Lips*
Their packaging is the best among all the lip balms that we get. I always searched for the quality of Lip Balms that I used to buy while being in USA and Maybelline has brought that same quality in India now.! Thanks to Maybelline. The bullet comes in a black and neon pink color with manufacturing date written on the bottom sticker.
It’s a neon pink shade. You have to swipe 2-3 times for the color to build up and show its true color. I think the electro pop shade has a bit more colour payoff as compared to the simple baby lips.
It is very creamy and glides on the lip very smoothly and gives a shiny finish. The 8H claim is not true as it only stays for 2-3 hours without eating.
My Take On Maybelline Electro Pop Pink Shock Baby Lips
I love baby lips and this new range is just awesome. It surely makes my lips as soft as “Baby Lips”. The packing is good. It is very chic and classy.
- Hydrates the lips really well.
- Has a cute tint to it.
- Price :*
Would i buy it again?
YES! and would try other shades from this range.
Hi guys! Guess what! I have turned 17 years old 🙂 yay! (happy dance).
Today I am doing a review on Colorbar Creme Touch Lipstick Passionate 006. It is the first colorbar product I own. So let’s get started with the review. 🙂
Colorbar Creme Touch Lipstick comes with the promise of lips that are eloquent and luscious. It comes with lovely rich colors and rich in moisturizing properties making lips look fuller and creamier all day long. It has sheabutter, Vitamin E and sunscreen agents at SPF 15 level which nourish and protect your lips against UV rays.
It comes in a silver cover with metallic finish. The cover has the ingredient list, manufacture and expiry date. Then comes the shiny metallic bullet with shiny purple on the inner side. The packaging is simple yet every classy and chic. 🙂
It is a neon pink shade with cool undertones. Pigmentation is really good.
My Take on Colorbar Creme Touch Lipstick Passionate 006
I am not a fan of neon color lipsticks but this one really suits my skin tone. It has creamy touch and lips feels moisturized and hydrated. But due to the creaminess it transfers easily. Stays upto 4-5 hours without meals. Fades away evenly and leave a beautiful coral pink stain on lips which stays the whole day morning to night!
- Creamy and moisturizing
- Good pigmentation
- Staying power is good
- Beautiful stain it leaves behind and gives you natural rosy pink lips the whole day.
- Stains lips which is both a good and bad thing for me because at the end of the day its quite hard to remove the stain from the lips using makeup remover.
Would I buy it again?
I would try more shades for their collection.
Hi guys! So finally I have finished Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover, which I have already reviewed. The S.A. recommended me to use the Neutrogena oil- free eye makeup remover. So let’s get started with the review.
Rs. 349 for 162 ml
Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover takes off even waterproof eye makeup without leaving an oily residue.
Forget harsh tugging and pulling. This ultra-gentle dual phase formula activates when shaken to remove all eye makeup—even waterproof mascara—without any greasy residue. It is ophthalmologist tested, safe for contact lens wearers and oil free.
Take off all your eye makeup the gentle way.
- Dual-action formula removes even waterproof makeup
- Oil-free, non-greasy
- Ophthalmologist tested
- Safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers
Cyclopentasiloxane, Water, Cyclohexasiloxane, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf juice, Benzyl alcohol, Sodium chloride, Dipropylene Glycol, Poloxamer 182, Allantoin, Tripotassium EDTA, Benzylkonium Chloride, Glycerin, Cucumber(Cucumis Sativus) Fruit Extract, Potassium phosphate, Dipotassium phosphate.
How to use:
Shake Well. Apply with cotton pad on closed eyelids. Gently rinse with warm water.
My Take On Neutrogena Oil – Free Eye Makeup Remover
This makeup remover is better than Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover. Its quantity is good. It is not in a spray form as Lakme Absolute Bi-Phased Makeup Remover, so the amount of use can easily be managed. Cleans my eye makeup in one go. I also use it as a face makeup remover and it is good at that too. Still its biggest drawback is that it has some oil residues even when the product claims that it is oil-free.
- Does not irritate my eyes or skin
- Easy to use
- Can be used as face or lip makeup remover
- Does not do what it claims as it is not oil free.
Would i buy it again?
Nope. I would like to try more makeup removers available in the market.

Hi guys! Today I am doing a review on Maybelline Jewel in Pink Tourmaline shade (1433). So let’s get started.
Rs. 350 for 3.9 gms.
It comes in a colour coordinated cap with hologram all over it.You can identify the shade without any confusion as most of us like hoarding maybelline lipsticks. Then comes the metallic lipstick bullet with Maybelline new york written on it. The shade’s name, number and manufacturing date is written on the bottom sticker.
It is a light pink shade with blue undertone and golden shimmer on it. It covers pigmentation in one go. The colour is mainly on the sheer side. One can not actually see the gold shimmer when applied. This shade will suit light skin tones beauties.
I like this shade so much that I even wear it when I am going to sleep (khi-khi 😀 ).This shade really suits my skin but sometimes when I wear this lipstick, I feel like I am wearing a purple lipstick I don’t know why. It glides on the skin very easily and gives a smooth finish.
- It is very affordable
- Good quality product
- Pigmentation is good
- Doesn’t have over the top shimmer
- Very young and flirty colour
- Apt for summer
- Beautiful jeweled tone
- 8 fantastic shades in this range
Note: All the photographs are taken in natural sun light.
Hi guys! Sorry for such a late post. I had my exams and frankly I was too lazy to type a review. So finally I am back with a review on Lakme Absolute Gloss Addict Lipstick in fine wine shade.
I heard so much about the new range from Lakme that is its absolute gloss addict lipsticks. I always wanted to try one so finally i bought it.
Rs. 800 for 4ml (I got it for 720) yay!

This time lakme did a good job in its packaging. It comes in a black cover with the company’s name, price written on it. Then comes the lipstick bullet, it is double covered, transparent covering on top and metallic inside. The shade of the lipstick can b seen from the top and the shade’s name is also written on the bottom. They made the lipstick very chic and classy. It is also travel friendly
Its price is really pocket burning. The pigmentation is really good for indian skin tones. It really moisturizes like a balm. So one can look pretty while protecting their lips. This shade really compliments my skin tone. I have a medium skin tone. It stays on my skin for 4 hours easily and can survive dry/light snacking.
– lightweight on lips.
– packaging is lightweight and attractive.
– highly pigmented.
– texture is buttery smooth.
– a burn in the pocket
Would i buy it again?
I would try more shades from this range.
